Lasko Fans
Lasko fans are american made and they average about 100 watts per hr on high speed. Lasko fans are
also quieter than many others, Lasko fans are rated very well. Good housekeeping ranked the 40" lasko 2530 tower
fan at #1. The lasko 2530 looks identical to the lasko 2551, except the latter fan is taller at 42".
Lasko 2530 40-Inch Elite Wind Tower Fan with Remote Control: The fan
works well. The timer is a luxurious option. The air output is sufficient. The oscillation doesn't click or creak
like some of them do, but every time you push a button:therse is a beep! Sometimes you need to adjust a fan at
night. These lasko fans are great for the living room, not so great for the boudoir. The fan itself works very well,
the tower shape is really nice. It doesn't move as much air as the Lasko #4924 High Velocity Blower, but it's a LOT
quieter on high speed.
You can use the remote to change the fan speed and turn the oscillation on and off, but you
can't turn the fan on and off with the remote (unless you want to try to set the sleep timer when you can't see
what you're doing). In spite of its height, the fan is light and easy to move. It has an indented hand-hold at its
top which makes it easy to pick up the fan and move it from room to room or store it in the garage during the
winter.
Lasko 4900 Pro Performance High-Velocity Utility Fan: It's exceptionally
quite because it uses a turbine - not blades. It moves a vast amount of air, even on low speed. It would blow away
any typical $15 box fan. I'd be willing to bet that it would outperform an 18" Patten high velocity air circulator!
It's also better than the similar looking Stanley, which get high marks from reviewers. I found that the Stanley is
a smaller less powerful fan and it's not built as tough. Remember to compare the size and weight and you'll see a
difference. For an extra $10, this fan is a much better buy.I recommend this fan over ANY other fan without
hesitation.
Lasko 4000 Air Stik Ultra-Slim Oscillating Fan:The Lasko 4000
Oscillating Ultra Slim Fan is perfect for circulating cool air in a small office space. The fan easy fits on a
small computer desk, circulates air quietly, and has the benefit of a low and high speed. The slim, small size
makes this fan unobtrusive. It has a tiny 3"x4" footprint, making it easy to find a home on even the most crowded
desk. Likewise, the air stream is quite focused, so you won't have to pin down every loose paper on your desk every
time you turn it on. It's very quiet on low or high. And oscillation is a feature you won't find on many fans with
a footprint this small. This fan works great because it stands tall (12")& slim and doesn't take up a lot of
space & it has two speeds.. It's tolerably quiet, albeit not silent. It can only be directed horizontally.
Therefore, you have to mount the fan at a height that's exactly correct, relative to the level at which you want
the airstream.
Lasko 4924 Space-Saving High-Velocity 3-Speed Oscillating Blower Fan:The
Lasko High Velocity Fan/Blower is an outstanding choice for a large/medium sized room. The fan moves a considerable
amount of air (see the video) and offers all of the necessary options - timer, variable speed, and oscillation. It
os Very strong, this fan moves a lot of air.It has the ability to direct the air to the areas that you want -
Lasko gives you a "Jet Stream" of air. Has Variable speeds , 3 speeds for different room sizes or conditions. While
it is loud it is a steady sound level , it is not high pitched or squeeky so it is easy to ignore. In fact, it is
perfect for background sound while sleeping. Oscillation covers about 45 degrees of rotation. While it is not
stylish - the unit offers a remote control that is perfect for a night stand. it's quiet and it really blasts the
air around and with the air on, it circulates the cool air everywhere. I highly recommend lasko fans.
